Dennis James Sweda moved on to the great golf course in the sky on August 13th, 2022 at the age of 71.
He was born to Mary Irene (nee Kutchkowski) and Joseph John Sweda on May 31st, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI. Father of Fred (Sara) and Nick Sweda, beloved partner of Terry Audley, grandfather of Hailey Reil and Brayden Sweda, and brother of Bill Sweda and the late Donald Sweda. Endearing parent to his beloved cats, Gus & Buster.
Dennis was an avid golfer, gardening enthusiast and overall prankster. He had a rewarding career at Wisconsin Bell and was admired by his professional colleagues. He was a man of few words, but was always able to make the room laugh with his witty humor. Dennis will undoubtedly be eternally content, wearing an outfit bedazzled with pink flamingos, smoking a Camel Light on the 18th green, and looking forward to the next time he will spend a moment with his friends and family, all of whom he loved, even though he would never say so out loud.
Visitation Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10280 N. Pt. Washington Rd., Mequon, WI 53092. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association appreciated.
