Gene was always cordial. He was very hospitable and a good cook. He was a wonderful husband to my sister. We certainly appreciate that. We do appreciate him and the fond memories we have. He is missed.

It was such an honor to care for your dad and the family when Gene moved to Wisconsin. The love that your dad had for all of his sons and daughter-in-laws was noticed on a daily basis. I cry tears of sadness for the passing of your dad, but tears of happiness that he is finally back with your mom Barbara, where he wanted to be. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that your dad is with your mom again. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family, even for only a short amount of time. Until we meet again Gene.
