Wantland, Judith A. “Judy”

Passed away on October 9, 2022 at the age of 61. Beloved “Ma” of Rick (Jess) Wantland. Proud Grandma of Melanie, who was the light of her life. Cherished daughter of Sharon and Al Wantland. Loving sister of Barb (Bill) Thoma, Sherri (Mark) Mayer, and Mark (Jessalyn) Wantland. Preceded in death by her brother Jim, her Grannie and Grampie Lorenz, and her Grandma and Grandpa Wantland. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends.

Judy cherished her time with family and friends. Most of all, she loved being a Grandma to Melanie. Judy was a fun-loving biker chick that loved riding her motorcycle. Judy adored her pets Booger, Bob, Mike, Tommy, and Lizzie (all female). She was an avid quilter, scrapbooker, enjoyed Macramé, cooking, baking, and reading.

Visitation will be Thursday October 13, 2022 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Sussex from 4pm until time of service at 7pm.
