John David Williams
August 9, 1946 - December 16, 2022
        

Age 76 from Washington Island, Wisconsin formerly of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin started his eternal life on December 16th, 2022 in Green Bay, Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family. 

John was the beloved husband of Dorothy “Dotty” Dunn Williams for 52 years. He was a devoted father to Margaret Williams Strom, Sarah Williams Mueller, John Carl Vogt Peters Williams and James Brewster Williams (Holly Unger Williams). A loving grandfather to Rhys Michael Mueller, Maxwell James Grede Lange, Finley David Mueller, Kieran Nicolas Mueller, Gavin Angus Strom, Stuart Russell Williams, Frederick James Williams, Elsa Jane Williams and Creighton Richard Williams. A dear brother of Jane Williams Reed and Barry James Williams (Philippa Binns Williams). Further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

John is preceded in death by his parents James Thomas Williams and Carol Grede Williams. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at 2:00pm at Falls OPC Church, W156 N7356 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls. Please click link to view John's Memorial Service.

There will be a private interment at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI. 

John was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Jim and Carol Williams on August 9th, 1946. He attended Wauwatosa East High School and graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. He married Dotty in Portland, Maine. He was President of the Spence Corporation, based in Milwaukee. He was an elder and taught Sunday School at Falls Presbyterian Church and Bethel Evangelical Church. He served on the board for Westminster Theological Seminary and on the OPC Foreign Missions Committee. He worked with the foundation at Aurora St. Luke’s on the Healing Garden project. He was active in his children’s sports and musical pursuits. He was also a regular fixture at the high-schools and colleges they attended. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Menomonee Falls Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Bethel Evangelical Free Church Washington Island and Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church in New Berlin are appreciated. 

The family of John wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Aurora Baycare, Dr. Mark Riedy and the entire staff of ICU-2 for the care given to John during his last days.
