Richard J. "Dick" Roskopf
May 2, 1942 - March 10, 2023

Dick Roskopf passed away peacefully with family by his side.  He was born in Germantown, WI and raised on the family farm with his seven siblings.  He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Loretta as well as his oldest brother Robert Roskopf and brother-in-law Michael Riemer.  Dick was an amazing husband (54 years) to his wife Joanne (Andrysczyk), and father to sons Daniel (Nicole); Douglas (Carlin) and Todd (Holly).  He was always so proud of his 10 grandchildren Breckyn, Dylan, Derrick, Caiden, Lexys, Brylee, Lauren, Marissa, Jase, and Joshua.  Loving brother of Bernice (Dick) Riedeman, Ruth (Fred) Dahlke, Marilyn (Robert) Elger, Jerry Roskopf, Rita Riemer, and Carol (Robert) Lohman.

Dick was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 139 Union for 55 years.  His life’s passion was faith, family, friends and farming. He worked the family farm, his own land and leased land.  He was also a member of the Germantown Volunteer Fire Department for over 15 years.  He preceded and survived countless friends.  He was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s church, Menomonee Falls, where he sent all 3 sons to school.  He was a very active volunteer and charter member of the St. Mary’s ‘Do Dad’s’.  Dick was always there to lend a helping hand to family, friends, or anyone in need. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Sincere appreciation for Dad’s care from Visiting Angels, Matterhaus at The Gables, Aurora Grafton, Kathy Hospice, Karri Topp, Hailey Schmidt, Breckyn Ryg, dear neighbors Emily and Bobby Asmondy as well as the loving support from his family and many friends.

The visitation for Dick will be on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 12Noon until the time of the 3PM memorial service at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, WI.
