Of Wauwatosa was born into eternal life on April 19, 2023 at the age of 71.

Born on June 1, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin she was the eldest child of the late Eleanor (nee Wachholz) and Richard Waldschmidt. Liza grew up in the Menomonee Falls area with her three siblings Richard (Honee) Waldschmidt, Thomas (Mari) Waldschmidt, and Patricia (Dean) Keller. Liza graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School and went on to attend UW Madison where she earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. After college Liza moved to Milwaukee where she met her husband, Patrick. They were united in marriage on April 2, 1977 and have been together for 46 years.

Liza worked as a physical therapist for Milwaukee Public Schools, supporting and improving the lives of so many children throughout her career. Liza flawlessly balanced her career with motherhood, raising three daughters Erin (Thomas) Fabian, Molly (Travis) Moya, and Meghan Dunn. Liza loved and supported her daughters through school and their many activities including soccer, tennis, and Irish dance. Liza’s Lutheran faith was also a major anchor in her life.

Liza is survived by her loving husband Patrick; three children Erin (Thomas) Fabian, Molly (Travis) Moya, and Meghan Dunn; and four grandchildren, Cole Fabian, Ronan Moya, Hunter Fabian, and Emma Moya.

The visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1209 N. Broadway, Milwaukee from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11 AM.  A private burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
