After a long battle with cancer, Mike passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 73. He is survived by his best friend and wife Janet of 41 years; his daughters Michele Midgett and Blanca (Ryan) Lyle; and his grandchildren Alice, Gabi, Blanca, and Hadley. Further survived by other relatives and his friends in the A-Team.

One of Mike’s passions in life was his race team for the blind- Macracng. Giving back to the blind community and helping them achieve the joy of racing was something Mike was very proud of.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 AM until 3 PM on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Cornerstone Pub and Eatery, 24 S Main St, Oconomowoc. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Dousman/Ottawa Lions Club or to Rainbow Hospice  are appreciated.
