Born to Eternal Life on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the age of 31 years. Beloved daughter of Loren "George" and Diane Shultis. Loving sister of Michael, David, Mackenzie, Jackson and Riot Shultis. Cherished mother to her son, Branson. Special auntie to Matthew, Trystan and Pierson. Dear granddaughter of David and the late Mary Maciejewski, and of the late George and Shirley Shultis. Survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends. Preceded in death by her uncle Lester, aunt Linay, and cousins Cheryl and Ryan. 

Visitation Wednesday, June 7, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home at 10280 N. Port Washington Road in Mequon. Service at 7:00 pm. Private family interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Richfield on Thursday, June 8. 

Samantha "Sami Jo" grew up in Belgium, WI, and gave unlimited amounts of joy, smiles and treasured memories to her parents, siblings, nephews, grandparents, extended family and friends. She shared very special bonds with her father George as his firstborn baby girl and with her little sister Riot growing up. Sami was Riot’s “Little Mama.” The bond between Sami and her mother Diane was especially close. They saw each other every day, or spoke multiple times a day. Sami’s 2-year-old saying to her Mom was “Love You Me!” “Sami Jo, Mommy will ALWAYS ‘Love You Me.’” 

Sami’s most special bond was with her dear, dear Branson. They had each other, and he was the love of her life. To assist with Branson’s expenses, she recently became a server at Little Kohler Haus. She was also studying Human Resources at MATC to make a good life for both of them. In lieu of flowers, a donation fund is being set up for her son’s future medical and special educational costs.
