Mary Louise San Fillippo passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2023, at the age of 95.  She was born on March 13,1928 in downtown Oconomowoc.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador San Fillippo and Marie Armaro San Fillippo,  brothers and sisters, Peter I, James, Dominic (Ursula) Sammy (Pat), Peter II (Helen), Tony, Eva Marie, Ann and Nancy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was a successful business woman in real estate and rentals for over 50 years.  She was also well known for selling Christmas trees in the Oconomowoc area.

She enjoyed taking long walks, golfing, swimming, boating and horse-back riding, all sports which she did with her family and friends.

She was a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters for 35 years.  Mary attended Mount Mary University in Milwaukee.

Mary lovingly cared for her brothers and sisters throughout their lives.  She approached life with a quiet and resolving strength that we all admired.  Her calm presence brought peace to those around her.  She always had the attitude that nothing was impossible, you just have to want it bad enough to work for it.  This stemmed from her Catholic upbringing and her deep faith in God.

Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday June 16, 2023 at St. Jerome Catholic Church 995 S. Silver Lake St. Oconomowoc from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Jerome Cemetery.
