I have such wonderful memories of Uncle Dale. He was loving, funny, passionate about life and excited to show and share all the fruit of his labor in the garden. Also, there were many great times riding in the back of the speeding pickup with all the cousins in the woods, and he loved hearing our squeals of laughter while he drove.

Uncle Dale and his family are the centerpiece of my connection to Wisconsin. I learned everything I know about Wisconsin from him and my mom talking about their times growing up there. They had so many stories of a life so unique. I'm so glad to heve heard the stories. Uncle Dale was truly a treasure of a man. He and Aunt Dorothy raised four incredible children who grew up to be High-quality adults

Duane, Donna and Darrell, I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom was a better version of herself when your dad was with her. She smiled and laughed a lot then, and we all got to see a wonderful side of her that only he brought out. I imagine that your dad brought out good things in you and your children, and your children's children. You will always have him and his passion within you. Use it. His excitement and passion for life was so valuable. I love you all very much and hope your grief for this loss is manageable.
