Jack Henry Rudolph was given to us on April 26, 1936 and born into eternal life on September 1st, 2023 at the age of 87. A life long resident, Jack graduated from Mukwonago High School in 1955 where he lettered in multiple sports and forged friendships with his classmates and teammates that he cherished for a lifetime. He was an exceptional baseball player who went on to play in the Land of Lakes League and even on a traveling team for the Army where he served from 1955-1957.
After serving in the Army, Jack worked in construction and then in the retail grocery industry where he enjoyed interacting with and assisting customers. That experience and an entrepreneurial spirit led him to starting his own business in Mukwonago called “The Bourbon Bin” which he proudly operated as one of Southeast Wisconsin’s finest liquor stores for 18 years. He loved his employees and together they always went the extra mile to serve their valued community having a ton of fun along the way.
Jack made friends easily as a generous man who freely gave his help, love, humor and forgiveness to whoever needed it. Golfing or taking in a Brewer or Packer game with family and friends was an ideal day for him. Throw in a Brandy Old Fashioned (or two . . .) and it could easily become a perfect evening as well. His approach to life was easy to see - build as many great friendships as you can and enjoy the hell out of them! His greatest joy came from watching his family grow and enjoy life and his strong sense of humor is alive and well throughout the family tree.
Jack was an outstanding husband, father and grandfather who married his high school sweetheart Judith (Enright) Rudolph, who he loved and adored throughout 64 years of marriage until his passing. Together he and Judy proudly raised Lori (Jim) Fleury, Jody Reed and Jeff (Shelly) Rudolph. Jack and Judy are the proud Grandparents of Ashley (Phil) Powell, Lindsey Fleury and Justin Fleury. They are also currently blessed with one Great Grandchild, Ivy Powell.
Jack was preceded in death by his father Floyd, mother Inez (Healey), brother Jerry and Sister Judy (Trefinger).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15 at First Congregational Church (231 Roberts Dr. Mukwonago) from 3:00 PM until the time of the Service at 5:00 PM. Military Honors will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Congregational Church of Mukwonago or the Mukwonago Catastrophic Medical Fund.
Immediately following the service, Jack and his family would like to thank all of his friends for enriching his journey with a Celebration of Life to be held at the Mukwonago Post 375 American Legion Community where Jack was a proud member for many years. Tears are accepted at this event, but laughter is required!
