Margaret Camille Collins
August 1, 1961 - September 10, 2023

Margaret Collins (nee Fleis) was called home to the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the age of 62.  Her transition from this world into heaven was peaceful, as Jesus embraced her lovingly from her sleep.

Beloved wife of Thomas and cherished mother of Mitchell. Margaret is survived by her dear siblings, Linda (Michael) Schulte, Christine (Keith) Cossairt, Wayne (Mary) Fleis, DiAnne (Mark) Bickler, & Geraldine (Craig) Halpert, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends.  Preceded in death by her parents Clemence and RoseMarie, and brother Stephen Fleis.

Margaret’s abiding faith was the foundation of her life. She embraced a deep love for Jesus and the Catholic Church which enveloped her husband, son, family members, and friends. She glorified God by her actions and words, thanking Him daily and trusting him explicitly throughout the journey of her illness and her entire life. So many of Margaret’s friends and family thanked her for bringing them closer to God; a true blessing.

Retired from Lad Lake, Margaret enjoyed taking walks with her dog Reggie, working out in her gym, gardening, traveling, shopping, enjoying good wine, and having a great time with close friends, including the Last Call Cocktail Club, and a wide circle of friends from the many facets of her life.  Margaret always put others first, providing compliments, striking up conversations, offering help, giving gifts, and as God commanded, treating others as she had wanted to be treated. She set the bar high, held firm to her values, morals, the importance of family and faith, and was always clear with her convictions while lovingly respecting others. Margaret will be remembered for many things, especially her beautiful smile, vivacious personality, and her kindness and concern for others. She was a true warrior in her fight of cholangiocarcinoma, and will be so dearly missed.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 21st at St. Charles Parish, 313 Circle Drive, Hartland, WI. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive in Brookfield.
