Of Mequon. Entered his heavenly home on January 16, 2024 at the age of 91 years.  He was the beloved husband of the late Marlene C. (nee Kleist) for 64 years.  Loving father of Lori (Greg) Stevens, Jill (Brian) Hottmann and the late Penny Rae Schumacher.  Proud grandfather of Erik, Megan and Danny Stevens and Tyler (fiancé Kate) and Evan Hottmann.  Dear brother of Shirley (Rodney) Wagner, Marlene (Jim) Mundt, Donna (Gary) Madison and two brothers Wayne (Audrey) and Kenny (Annette) Schumacher.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by his loving wife Marlene, daughter Penny and brothers Paul and Harold. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1616 W. Mequon Rd., Mequon on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 9:30 AM until 11:45 AM with Funeral Service at 12 noon.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church.

Born in Milwaukee on August 10, 1932 and graduated from Boys Tech High School where he served as class president and excelled at both Cross Country and track.

He worked at Northwestern Mutual for 43 years and also served in the Army Reserves as a sergeant.  Marvin enjoyed hunting for pheasants, gardening, fishing and playing dartball.  He had a passion for living and was truly one resilient and loved dad and grandfather!
