Janet passed away on February 5, 2024, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 14, 1937. United in marriage to Donald Ray Lacy in 1957. They were married for 63 years until Don's passing on November 6, 2020. She had three children, Donald Jr. (Diane), John (Linda), and Roger (Linda) and four grandchildren, John, Michael, Diana, and Kaitlin. She is survived by her sisters Judy and Wanda. She was preceded in death by family members Thelma, Tony, Robert, and Joyce. 

Janet was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was a dedicated Christian who loved her church family and friends.

She loved her job as a medical assistant where she worked for many years. After retiring, she joined Comfort Keepers and worked in private homes for several years.

She and Don loved gardening and canning vegetables which often became gifts to friends and family. She loved to travel in the USA and Europe. In her later years, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, puzzles, and word searches.

She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Visitation will be at Schmidt & Bartelt - Menomonee Falls on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 12pm until time of Funeral Service at 1pm.
