Barbara passed peacefully on 2/10/24, surrounded by her sons. Survived by: Bill (Laureen), Tom (Sarah) and Peter Weigel, cherished grandchildren (Michael, Brooke, Taylor, Haddie, Elliot), great grandchildren (Madelyn, Mason), her sister Suzanne Possell, many other loved relatives, Mercy girls, neighbors and friends. Barbara was born 12/5/34 in Milwaukee to Martin and Margaret (nee Leisle) Radler. She graduated from Marquette University in 1956, married the late Joe Weigel, enjoyed a long career as a med tech, prayed every day, and was the best mom ever. Barbara was wise, resilient, humble, generous, compassionate, and unfailingly kind to all. She was extraordinary in every way. The family wishes to thank the extraordinarily caring and attentive Froedtert NICU medical team. Visitation will take place at Christ King Catholic Parish, 2/19/24 at 10AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
