Marilyn L. Cesarec
February 8, 1944 - April 28, 2024

Marilyn Louise Cesarec (nee Paul), beloved wife of Frank, found Eternal Peace on April 28, 2024.

In addition to her loving husband Frank, Marilyn is survived by her treasured children Marc Paul Cesarec, Sabrina Louise (Jae) Henderson, Heather Marie (Tim) Johnson; adored grandchildren who describe their grandma as “sweet and sassy”, Marc Paul (Hilary) Cesarec II, Brooke Marie Cesarec, Jesse Alexander Cesarec, Simon Lee Henderson, Vanessa Nu Henderson, Emma Ruth Johnson, Hunter Andrew Johnson; precious great grandchildren Brandon, Jacob, Eden, Kilian Cesarec; and nephew Lenny (Monica) Frederickson.   She will also be deeply missed by Irene Czarnecki, her dear friend of over 50 years, whom Marilyn considered a sister.

A love story, pure and true, began when Marilyn met Frank.  They married on September 21, 1963, and spent their honeymoon camping in central Wisconsin.  In 1979, Frank built a new home for them which Marilyn took great pride in, helping him when she could.  Together they enjoyed roller skating, which included competitive dance and speed skating, snowmobile racing, and bowling.  Accomplished in these sports, Marilyn won a state meet speed skating in the ladies senior division, as well as a Waukesha city bowling tournament with her mom and sister.

Other things Marilyn enjoyed were tooling leather, camping, fishing, and deer hunting.  If she wasn’t watching her favorite Packers, Bucks, or Brewers, you would certainly find her tuned into the tennis channel.

A time in her career in which Marilyn was very proud was when she was a phlebotomist and worked for both St. Francis and West Allis hospitals.  She was also an Xray Tech and assistant to Drs. Looze, Stolp, and Fricano for many years and spent some time as an assembler for Generac.

A woman of faith, Marilyn would tell you that she loved her Lord and family more than anything else in life.  This is what undoubtedly brought her the greatest joy and how she wishes to be remembered.

Marilyn is preceded in death by parents Alfred and Ruth Paul, cherished sisters Sonja Jean Paul and Beverly Ruth Frederickson, and her faithful German shepherd, Tara.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 5, at Christ Lutheran Church in Big Bend, S89 W22970 Maple Av, at 1PM until the time of funeral Service at 3PM.

What do you hope others have learned from you?

“How to love someone.”
