Holly, very deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. So sorry, Luca and Mary Jo.

~ Luca and Mary Jo DeFlorentiis, Cedarburg, WI

Holly, Jenny, Amy, Megan and Jim, I am so sad to hear the news of your mom’s passing. Suzie was such a special lady in the lives of so many of your friends growing up in Mequon. I will remember her fondly. She always welcomed me and greeted me with a smile and a sincere “hi honey”. She was a favorite “mom” to me and so many. She was the “coolest” and so supportive! I am blessed to have known her. I am sad for this great loss and I am sending my love and support to you all! Hang on to all the great memories and remember often of all the wonderful things your mom did for you and the community. She will be missed. Love you guys!

Dear James, Holly, Jennifer, Amy and Megan, I treasure my memories of your mom. She was an adorable, enthusiastic, bright student of mine when I taught at Port Washington. H.S. She retained those qualities her entire life. I also had the pleasure of teaching serval of you at Homestead H.S. Best of all, Susie taught my granddaughter to swim. Hannah loved her class and quickly learned to swim the entire length of the pool. Indeed, your mom was a blessing to all who knew her. May your own memories console you in your loss. Fondly, Nancy Wiese

Susie was a terrific educator and more than that, a wonderful person. 30 years ago she taught my children to swim and made sure they knew how to save someone from drowning as well. We will be in prayer for all of her family.

I loved Susie. She and I would laughed while subbed together and when we went out to dinners. She was a wonderful lady. We would call and just "catch up" on each other often. She was the best!!!!
