Of Menomonee Falls. Born to eternal life July 19, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Marge for 64 years. Loving dad of Linda (Jean Salzer) Kapheim, Colleen (Tim) Townsend and Kathleen (Mick) Dukic. Proud grandpa of Jason, Carly, Nevenah and Caleb. Dear brother of Larry (Mary) Kapheim. Further survived by many other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his twin brother Ron.

Don was a member of the Menoharmonee Barbershop Chorus for 45 years, first as a tenor and later as a baritone. He could harmonize to any song and was always glad to jump in on a Happy Birthday. An avid fisherman, his favorite fishing hole was Little Green Lake where he liked to fish with family.

Don worked as an accountant for Community Memorial Hospital and as an accounting manager for UMOS (United Migrant Opportunity Services). After retiring he continued accounting for Schan Tax Service as well as doing personal income taxes for family and friends.

More than anything, Don was devoted to his family, always present at family’s sporting events and looking forward to spending time with family at the holidays.

Visitation will be held at ST. ANTHONY CATHOLIC CHURCH, N74W13604 Appleton Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, Thursday, August 1 from 11:30 a.m. until Memorial Mass is celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Private inurnment at St. Mary's cemetery.
