Daniel R. Heiden of Menomonee Falls, passed away on July 22, 2024, at the age of 72. He was born February 4, 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Walter G.E. and Jean A.M. Rischmann. Beloved and cherished husband of Lydia (nee Varhelyi) Heiden of 44 years; loving father of Stefanie (Alex) Bachrach and JD (Kayla) Heiden; proud Papa of Sammy, Joey and Tommy Bachrach and Jase Heiden. Dan is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Dan was a dedicated real estate attorney in Waukesha County for over 40 years. Always up for a happy hour and a fish fry, Dan regularly enjoyed getting together with friends and playing cards on his houseboat. His problem-solving creativity was perfect for all of the projects he loved doing, including working on bumper boats for the grandkids, building walkways, and tinkering with all types of motors. He loved watching his grandsons enjoy their favorite activities, including all types of sports, dirt biking, fishing, and playing in the lake. His sense of humor always brought a smile and a laugh – we already miss you, Papa!

 A private service and burial will be held in August. A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall.
