Welcomed into the arms of the lord on August 28, 2024, at the age of 73.

Loving wife of Frank Hartay of 53 years.

Adored mom of Jennifer (Brian) Hinde and Jeanna (Matt) Johnson.

Grammy of Maggie, Jack, Avery, and Evan.

Sister of Sharon (Don) Mann, T.J. Kacmarcik, Shirley (Dan) Petri, and Jim Kacmarcik.

Further survived by other family and friends.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Jo Kacmarcik.

Karen had a strong faith and was a lifelong member of the Catholic church. She found joy tending to her vast flower gardens, taking trips with her brother’s and sister’s, antiquing, and playing card games with family. She loved spending time with her daughter’s and their families, but most of all, her four grandchildren that she adored. Karen considered herself blessed to be married to her best friend and companion Frank, who she built a beautiful life with.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the funeral home in Menomonee Falls (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051) from 12pm until time of service at 2pm.
