Dale R. Doerflinger
December 28, 1950 - August 31, 2024

Of Germantown

Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away August 31, 2024, at age 73. Dale was a loving man, who made a friend everywhere he went. In his younger years, he enjoyed working on and riding his Harley Davidson; if the weather was nice, he was ready to ride. He also enjoyed many tournaments and weekends with friends on the golf course. It was always a good day when he could take his sons to a Brewers game at Milwaukee County Stadium. He was a lifelong Packers fan and would host many football parties over the years with friends and family. After battling with his own alcohol addiction, he got sober in 2004 and found great healing in helping others. He spent many years volunteering at the Washington County Jail as an advocate for inmates, who were fighting addiction. Dale had great joy in serving his community and getting to know people, in all walks of life. After retirement, he especially enjoyed working on his corvette, and traveling with his wife and his corvette club. You may have seen him driving his prized corvette in a parade or two.

Dale is survived by his loving wife Linda (nee Neumann), sons Daniel (Sarah), Gary, and Robert, granddaughter Mila, step-grandchildren Kelsey (Justin) Hill, Bradley, and Landen (Grace) Spradlin, brother David (Allyson) and Dawn (Joel) Manke. Further survived by special niece and Goddaughter, Jessica (Nick) Ott, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Last but certainly not least, his trusted companion and 4 legged friend, Aries.

Preceded in death by his twin son and daughter, Michael and Sarah, parents Denis and Audrey (nee Ehley), and brother Denis.

Dale was a retiree of Butters - Fetting, where he worked 33 years. He was a member of Sprinkler Fitters Local 183 for 52 years.
