(née Buth) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the age of 81 and is now joined with her husband “Gus” in heaven. She is survived by her children Jim Nehls and Tammy (Paul) Griffin, her granddog Hamm, other relatives, and friends.

Ruth Ann loved her home on Lower Genesee Lake where she lived for 60 years. She was a beautiful decorator and changed out for all seasons and holidays. She enjoyed collecting antiques, canning, baking, going to a casino now and then, and traveling all over the state for her favorite foods. She especially loved her flower gardens which were flourishing this year. She spent most of her working years at Kettle Moraine Schools and most recently she volunteered at The Gift Box at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

A semi-private graveside service will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Sullivan. A Celebration of Life will take place at Splash Martini Bar- The Lake Room on Friday, November 8, 2024 (Ruth Ann's Birthday) from 4 PM until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to AngelsGrace Hospice or St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sullivan are appreciated.
