It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Alice Jira, on October 14, 2024, at the age of 75.

Alice was born on September 22, 1949, in Milwaukee, WI to Martin and Lydia Traindl. Alice was a graduate of Menomonee Falls High school, class of 1967.  Alice was married to David Jira on February 15, 1969 and they celebrated a wonderful 55yrs together.  

In December 2014 Alice retired and spent her time working around the house, baking her famous cheesecake among all the other goodies, and watching her grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking and hosting holidays with her family and made every holiday memorable.  She was truly an amazing wife, mom, and grandmother and will forever be missed. 

Alice was predeceased by her parents Martin and Lydia Traindl, and her brother Martin Traindl Jr.  Alice is survived by her husband David Jira, her son Jeffry Jira, daughter-in-law Stacy (Bauer) Jira, brother Donald Traindl, her grandchildren Tyler and Lily Jira, and other family and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 21 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park – Chapel of Chimes (Main Entrance); 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, WI. Alice will be laid to rest immediately after the funeral services.
