Noel Cordoves
March 5, 1959 - October 13, 2024

It is with profound sorrow that we announce that Noel Cordovés passed away comfortably at home surrounded by love. He went to his heavenly home on Sunday October 13, 2024 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Gail (nee Cywinski). Adored father of Jessica (Jake) Cordovés, Jennifer (Jarrod) Wood and Jeanette Cordovés. Cherished step-father to Samara(Sackda) Theppanya, Jarrod(Jennifer) Wood and Shelby (Jerry) Hausman. Proud Papa of Zion, Xavier, Gabriel, Laila, Harper, Adalyn, Kaiyah, Lily, Ryan, Taylor, Jordyn, Beckham and Avery. Further survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends as well as his snuggly buddies Beanie and Sky.

Noel was a God-Loving man born in Brooklyn, New York on March 5, 1959. He grew up in Puerto Rico, a vibrant place that instilled hard work, resilience and compassion. Noel was proud to call La Isla home and share his culture with pride- BORICUA por siempre y para siempre! He came to Wisconsin at the age of 18, and put himself through school to receive his CNC certification. Noel spent the majority of his machinist career at Paper Machinery, where he was for over 34 years until retirement. He met many people through his time there and made many long-lasting friendships.

Noel was a devoted family man.  He dedicated his life to raising and loving his three daughters. And once he became a Papa his devotion spread to loving and cheering on his grandkids in all aspects of their lives.

To know Noel was to love him- those who knew him will remember his caring eyes, warm smile, willingness to lend a helping hand and generous hugs which made every encounter with him a true gift. When you met him, he would make you feel like family, that was Noel. Most Sunday’s, you would find him in comfies relaxing on the couch with his cup of coffee and sports on the TV. His favorite team to cheer for was the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and autographs.

Noel’s memory will forever be a beacon of love, laughter and family. Each of us grieves not only the passing of a tremendous man, but also the loss of an irreplaceable presence in our lives. We take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on through the many lives he touched and encourage all who loved him to honor him by loving on those around you like he would have! He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
