Joann Marie Brandemuehl, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on October 22, 2024, at age 71. She was born in California to parents Jerome and Betty Fleury.
Left to cherish Joann’s memory are her loving sons Michael, Thomas “TJ” (Melanie), and Scott (Jenny) Brandemuehl; and treasured grandchildren Noah, Camden, Amelia, and Carter Brandemuehl. Also left to cherish her memory are her sister Sharon (Doug) Keiser, brother Jim (Lori) Fleury, sister Mary (Jim) Reinhardsen, and many nieces and nephews.
Joann was joyful, caring, and compassionate, which undoubtedly made her an excellent nurse. She had a positive impact on the lives of many, whether patients, people she had known for years, or even those she had just met. Being “a helper” was simply in her nature. Also, a woman of faith, Joann was a devout member of Saint James Church in Mukwonago.
She loved music and enjoyed golfing, camping, visiting Arizona and getting her nails done. But what brought Joann the most joy, without question, was being a mother and grandmother as her family meant the world to her.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents and beloved grandson Braxton Brandemuehl.
She was a strong woman and fought a hard battle. Joann’s strength and courage has been an inspiration to all those who were blessed to know her.
Along with all those who were of love and service to Joann, the family gives their deepest thanks to the staff at Linden Grove and Commonheart Hospice for the great care they gave her.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 2 at 10AM until the time of memorial service at NOON at St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago (830 E Veterans Way).
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to HAWS as Joann was an animal lover.
