Thank you for your friendship, spanning 40 years! Many great memories, from "mistaking you" for your 'back then' twin, to barbecues with diaper changing accommodations, to reconnecting with you and your love and support through tough times, to our breakfasts at Rainbow and our many heartfelt talks about life, living and the beyond. Although I struggle greatly with your passing, I know that from our last conversation and evening together, that you are at peace. Love you and miss you! RIP, my friend.

To the Lodzinski Family;
My heartfelt condolences to all of you…
Damian was truly loved and will be missed by more than anyone could have imagined. Y’all just witnessed this today and this evening by the attendance and the outpouring of love & memories of the many years we all knew and had the privilege of sharing him with you. The celebration of Damian’s life was beyond amazing…thank you for that. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought he had a hand in planning the whole thing! Y’all done him proud. He was truly one of the loves of my life…in the sense that he respected, cared and loved me back like no other man, friend or person has ever done…just for me, as I am. He took me for who I am, and loved me for me.
Thank you for sharing your brother, uncle, cousin and nephew with me. I will miss him dearly. We all will miss him dearly.
Until I see you again in heaven my dear friend…please come visit me in my dreams.

Such a huge loss! Words can’t begin to describe the love felt by all who knew him. The common thread being friend! He lived life on his own terms… describing himself as a realist. We morn the loss but are comforted that his Christian faith has carried him home. Fly high Superman! Thank you for always being there!

It's hard to wrap my head around this and it's finally starting to sink in. We lost a great friend way too early.
Damian was a great friend and we had great times together, especially on our race trips. He was the only person I really felt comfortable with driving the motorcoach. The rig with the trailer was 73 feet long. One of the most memorable trips we had was our 2016 trip to Daytona. He never had a bucket list but I made him start one on that trip with a ride in Dean Martin's car. He then realized how slow all of his previous rides were with the rest of us at the track. We also did trips to Watkins Glen, Barber Motorsports Park, VIR, Gingerman and Road Atlanta.
D00000d, you are going to surely be missed by many. Such a good friend and such a great guy. I'm so happy I was able to say goodbye to you. I'm sorry for the suffering you went through at the end and I know you are in a much better place now.
RIP good friend. GOD SPEED I will see you on the other side and we will have a beer.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Damian's family and friends. I enjoyed snowmobiling with Damian and the group in the UP. He was always smiling, laughing and having a great time. I will never forget you my friend. Until we meet again on the trails in heaven, rest in peace.
