Eva Stemmer (nee Becht) died peacefully on November 12, 2024, at age 91, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. To her family, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose joyful laugh punctuates the many memories of time spent together – at her home over a cup of coffee in the kitchen or working in the garden, up north on family camping trips, and around the table during the holidays. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, and through each generation of her family, every one of us has cherished rituals and traditions that stem from our time with her.

Eva was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Michael, and beloved daughter Heide Patton. Dear mother of Leni Storms and Mary Brunner. Oma to 11 grandchildren: Michael Storms, Katie (David) Pederson, Jason Storms, Patrick (Jenny) Patton, Jennifer (Matt) Erickson, Julie (Nick) Patton, Kelly Nelson, Amy (Jake) Wanner, Tyler (Robyn) Augustin, Rebecca (Joseph) Fisher, and Megan (Mario) Salinas. Great Grandma to: Destiny, Addison, Aiden, Ryland, Oliver, Hunter, Keira, Myles, Cameron, Madison, Everett, Marlena, and baby Salinas due in February.

Loving daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth Becht. Sister of the late Elizabeth Becht, Peter Jr. (Christine) Becht, the late Anna and (Joe) Kolund, the late Barbara (Louie) Weinhandl, the late Henry (Marie) Becht, Katie (Wayne) Kriehn, the late Paul (Karen) Becht, Frieda (Richard) Masar. Further survived by nieces and nephews of the Becht and Stemmer family.

Funeral services for Eva will be held on Friday November 29th, 2024, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave. Menomonee Falls WI.) Visitation will begin at 3:00pm until the time of service at 4:30.
