Beverly A. Kreul
September 17, 1933 - February 14, 2025

Heaven gained an incredible angel on February 14, 2025 when 91 year old, Beverly Ann Kreul left this earth. She was born on Sept. 17, 1933 in Waunakee, Wisconsin.   “The only Waunakee in the world” - Bev

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary (Doll) Kreul, and grandparents, Mary and Herman Doll, who raised her from age 9.   She was also preceded in death by her sister LaVon (Omer Clare) Postle and brother Donald (Cathy Statz) Kreul, niece, Sandra Gillman and nephew, Michael Kreul. She is survived by a multitude of “cool” nieces and nephews, her best friend of 62 years, Judy LaFond and Judy’s family.

As an educator for 50 years, Bev touched the hearts, minds and souls of so many students and their families.  She began her teaching career in Fond du Lac, WI when she was a Sister of St. Agnes. After leaving the convent, Bev continued to work as a teacher and especially enjoyed her 34 years of teaching at St. Jude the Apostle School.

How fitting for Bev to leave us on Valentine’s Day.  She was full of unconditional love and had this way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the world – because to her, you were.

She was an amazing individual and an extraordinary teacher who was loved by everyone who knew her.   She inspired countless students, teachers and parents with her remarkable spirit that brightened many lives over the years.  Her kindness, patience and compassion have left a lasting mark on the lives of all who knew her.

She’ll forever be remembered for her fun personality, ability to strike up a conversation with a stranger and make every person she met feel accepted and cherished.  She never spoke an ill word about anyone.   Everyone who knew Bev considered her a blessing in their life.

Visitation will be at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 800 Glenview Avenue Wauwatosa, WI 53213 on Saturday, February 22 from 10-11:45, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations kindly accepted to St. Jude the Apostle School.
