Although we did not know Mary for as long as some of our other fellow boarders, she truly was an inspiration to us. We loved listening to her stories, and she always brought smiles to our faces. A gentle, caring & amazing woman with a remarkable life who made a difference in so many people’s lives. We are grateful to have known her.
We're so very sorry for your loss. Our family will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

To Gary, Ben, and Mara,
May the memory of Mary be a blessing for all of you and for her beautiful soul in the world above and to come. News of her passing struck at my heart as I remembered all the wonderful years I shared time with her in the English department at Homestead HS. May G-d grant you all the blessings of good health, happiness, and peace of mind for all your days.

Beautifully written poem, Gary. She was a courageous and confident woman wherever she traveled (or rode.) I keep her forever in my heart as do all the horses and critters at Flying S Ranch. We miss her so very much.
