Jule J. Belott

Passed away in his sleep the morning of February 19, 2025, at the age of 80 in Vernon, WI. He was born on July 17, 1944, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of Leo & Viola (Sonby) Belott. Beloved husband of 56 years to Ruth. Loving father of Lisa (Trevor) Hornbacher & Kyle Belott (Cheryl) and proud grandfather to Sarah, Ava, Lauren, and Owen. Dear brother of Ranier and Mark. Jule was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Viola (nee Sonby) Belott, his sisters, Wendy Mikula, Billie Kennedy, Pauline Frymark, Carmen Monnot, brothers Elton, Cordell, and Blaine. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, & many friends.

He dedicated 45 years of his career to J.F. Cook Co. Overhead Door, beginning as a garage door installer and ultimately retiring as the vice-president and part owner.

He served in the National Guard for 4 years and was a volunteer firefighter for the Franklin Fire Department for over 10 years. Jule enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing racquetball.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 930 Main St., Mukwonago, WI. from 10am until time of service at noon. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to The American Stroke Association or St. Jude would be appreciated.
