Ruth Eleanor Rappold

 (nee Tuttle, formerly Rzepecki)

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend

Ruth Eleanor Rappold, 92, a longtime resident of Lake Beulah in East Troy, WI, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and adventure.

Ruth was the devoted wife of Frank Rappold and the cherished matriarch of a large and loving blended family. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Barber, and survived by her children Jay(Jill) Rzepecki, Jim (Mary) Rzepecki, Sue (Dale) Kanies, Wendy (Jim) Pearson, Tad (Joni) Rzepecki, Frank’s loving children Di(Ken) Braunschweig, Rick (Amy) Rappold, ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support.

A dedicated kindergarten teacher, Ruth touched countless young lives, nurturing curiosity and kindness in her students. Beyond the classroom, her adventurous spirit led her to travel the world, with her husband Frank embracing new experiences and cultures with enthusiasm. She had a deep love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle, enjoying tennis, paddleboarding, skiing, and swimming well into her later years. A passionate sailor, Ruth was a proud and active member of the Lake Beulah Yacht Club, where she formed lasting friendships and shared her love of the water with family and friends. At home Ruth could be found in her gardens, on long walks with her husband, or tinkering with gluten free recipes in her kitchen.  Her family will forever treasure her unending hospitality and celebrations on Lake Beulah.

Ruth will be remembered for her genuine warmth and kindness. Her generosity of spirit, her ever-present smile, and the gratitude she showed for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the many lives she touched.

A public celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at a later date.

Though she is no longer with us, Ruth’s spirit will forever be felt in the waves of Lake Beulah, the laughter of her grandchildren, and the hearts of all who knew her.
