John J. Carney

Of Mukwonago, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025 at the age of 72.  He is the loving father of Tanja (Marty) Setzer and Shawn (Jamie) Carney; step-father of Wendy (Jack) Kreush, Dorie (Derek) Neal, and Kelly (Christi ) Shaw; proud grandfather of Hailey, Amber, Samantha, Jaxon, Stefanie, April, Allen, Devin, Deana, Cheyanne, Kristen, Kaiden, Courtney, and great-grandfather of Fiona, Noelle and Quinton.  Brother of Mary Ellen Steyer and Barb Carney.  He was preceded by his wife Karen Carney.

John dedicated his career to driving trucks to provide for his family.  He cherished the freedom of the open road on his Harley, which he named Chilly. And he often expressed his joy and the deep affection he had for his three kitties – Bear, Tigger, and Peanut – who were undoubtedly his favorite kids….wink, wink.

In accordance to John’s wishes, there will be no services.
