(nee Pavela) Passed away unexpectedly at home on March 15,2025 at the age of 71. Most beloved wife and best friend of Dave for 50 years. Devoted mother to Joseph, David Jr, and Charles. Shared a loving relationship with Carrie, Leah and Morgan. Special grandma of 6; Destiny, Brianna, Dawson, Oakley, Miles and Vivian, and great grandma of 2; Kanyon and River.

Preceded in death by Father Richard and Mother Virginia (Ebner), and siblings Richard (Diane), Joe,and George Sczypiorski (Shery). Survived by Sister-in-laws Diane and Laurie.

Virginia was born in Madison and raised in Kenosha until 8th grade. After 8th grade she moved to LaCrosse, which she referred to as her hometown. Dave and Virginia were married in 1974, and raised 3 boys in Milwaukee. She was a homemaker, and she had an in-home daycare for 6 years. Following this, she worked at Deerwood and Guardian Angel providing childcare for several years. She spent countless hours shaping the lives of toddlers.

She loved animals and reading. She was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed cooking meals and feeding the people she loved. She especially loved baking Christmas cookies with her grandchildren.  

Virginia’s greatest love was her family. After retirement, she devoted her time to her grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.  

She was loved by so many and was a mother-figure and friend to all.  Virginia shared a very special relationship with her mother whom she was named after.  She was a big part of the Amrstrong family while the kids were being raised.  We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her mother, and her father who has been absent from her life for nearly 60 years.  

Visitation on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Avenue, Menomonee Falls from 5 PM until the time of Funeral Service at 7 PM. Private burial at Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Church of Latter-day Saints appreciated.
