Elaine A. Ringenoldus (Roth) age 93 of Elm Grove, Wisconsin born to eternal life on Wednesday March 19, 2025 surrounded by family. Elaine grew up in Wauwatosa born to Julian and Agnes Roth. She attended high school at Pius XI Catholic and enjoyed various extracurricular activities. Elaine attended Marquette University and became a dental hygienist. She enjoyed working for numerous dentists throughout her career in the Milwaukee area.
Elaine met the love of her life William (Bill) Ringenoldus while she worked at a bakery and he would stop in to visit while he worked at a grocery store nearby. They were married on May 14, 1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish in Elm Grove. They were able to spend forty-seven wonderful years together. Throughout their marriage, Elaine and Bill took numerous trips with family and friends. She said her favorite trip of all time was to the Canadian Rockies.
Elaine had another love for shopping which continued far into retirement including having gifts for family Christmas ready years in advance. She enjoyed many shopping trips including one to New York with her sister June. Elaine took joy in cooking grand meals for family and baking.
She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish and a devout Catholic Christian for her entire life. She was blessed with an extremely giving heart to those close to her. She volunteered into retirement at the Sisters of Notre Dame in Elm Grove and at Elmbrook Hospital. Elaine also loved making teddy bears which were donated to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. In her later years, Elaine would call bingo at the Highlands Community and would always be thinking of a new joke to tell. Of all, Elaine’s family was the most important thing to her. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She will be missed by her children: William II (Donna) Ringenoldus, Paul (Cari) Ringenoldus, Chris (Linda) Ringenoldus; five grandchildren: William III (Lynn) Ringenoldus, Joseph (Laurissa) Ringenoldus, Katie Ringenoldus, Amy (Shawn) Killips, and Cate Ringenoldus; five great grandchildren including: Blake and Mackenzie Killips; two great great grandchildren; sister: June Roche; and many sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband Bill Ringenoldus.
A visitation will be held on Thursday March 27, 2025 beginning at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Visitation Catholic Parish, 1260 Church St Elm Grove, WI 53122 with mass to follow at 12:00.
