Our beloved Mom, Grandma, “GG”, Sister, Aunt, and Friend, Judy Porter passed peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the age of 86.

Judy was born on August 23, 1938, to Franklin and Faye (nee Gilbronson) Burgermeister. She was a graduate of Mukwonago High School and longtime resident of Mukwonago. on March 23, 1957, she married Howard “Pete” Porter and they built a home on the family farm, where she raised 4 children. Judy worked at JC Penny’s for many years before retiring to spend time with her family. She enjoyed crafting, card making, ceramics, and traveling.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Kelly Coan, Tammy (Tom) Brewer, and Scott (Sandy) and Patrick (Angie) Porter. She was a proud Grandma and GG to Melissa, Nicole (Jason), Ryan, Nick (Samantha), Brandon, Katie (Chris), Jenny, Tim, Allie, Jon, Case, Anna, Sammie, Jezre’el, Royalty, and Sonny. Judy is further survived by sisters-in-law Lorraine Burgermeister, Ellen McKenzie, and Carol Porter; brother-in-law Robert Porter, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, Son-in-law Tom Coan, Brother Bruce Burgermeister, and many other beloved family members.

Thank you to Agrace Hospice for their care in the past weeks. A Special Thank You to all of the Staff and Residents of Brolen Park, East Troy. We will be forever grateful for the love, care, and support you gave our mother during her time there.

A private service and burial will be held per Judy’s request.
