(nee Schmidt) Staci found life ever after surrounded by her family on June 3, 2025 at the age of 58 years. Loving wife of Steve for 35 years. Loving mother of daughter Amanda (Travis) Pfile.  Adoring Mima of granddaughter Adalyn Pfile.  Daughter of Norman Schmidt and the late Margaret Schmidt (nee Schacht).  Sister of Kevin (Corrine) Schmidt, TamiJo (Marty) Lewandowski, Jay (Kathy) Schmidt and Megan (Tim) Kapellen.  Further survived by her mother-in-law Myrna Schneider, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Staci was strong willed woman with an enormous heart full of sass, sarcasm, loyalty, compassion, love, and the strength of a warrior. She loved the ocean, sand and sunshine. Other favorites included road trips, family vacations, and days filled with puzzles, reading books and gardening while listening to music of all genres. Preparing Sunday family dinners was her specialty and welcomed anyone who wanted to join. Dazy, Saydee and Gixxer will be the happiest dogs on their forever walk. 

“Look for me in the waves of the ocean, leaves blowing in the wind, snowflakes on your mittens, stars in the sky, the first bloom in spring, and the bird singing a song. I will be there.”
