Johnson, John Douglas

Entered into Eternal Life on June 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Cherished brother of Doreen (Bill) Jelenchick, Mark (Cathy) Johnson, Mike (Sue) Johnson, the late Bob (Louise) Johnson and the late Peggy (the late Wayne) Wagner. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Margaret Johnson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday June 27, 2025 at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, 1200 St. Gabriel Way in Hubertus, from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 11:30am. Burial will be at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend at 3pm.

John proudly served in the US Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War in country. Upon returning, he became an electrician and was employed at AO Smith. He was very active at St. Gabriel for many years, serving as an acolyte, maintenance man, and groundskeeper. John was also a longtime member of Knights of Columbus Holy Hill Council 7798, holding the title of Grand Knight. John loved animals, especially horses and dogs. He enjoyed spending time with family at the cottage in Silver Lake and riding on the pontoon boat with the dogs. He will be greatly missed.
