Nieces Stacy (Luke Wegner and daughter Flora) and  Laura (Justin Poenitsch and son Ty).  Cousin Hank Twardowski who was more like a brother, her sister-in-law Sandy Reichert, son’s John (Amy, daughter Ainsley and son Sam) and Tom (Erin, and daughter Greta Sue).  Special thank you to her guardian angels Lynn Tompitch, Pat Logee, Xue Willhite and John Roberts.

On September 12, 1981, she married the love of her life, John Broadway.  They were married for 36 years prior to his passing in 2017.  Dolores enjoyed being out in nature.  She and John owned a cabin in Wautoma and called it Utopia.  They loved buying and selling antiques at various flea markets.  Dolores also enjoyed walking, Mahjong, biking, yoga, Tai Chi, golfing, and other exercise classes.  She especially enjoyed the people and memorial created in her golf leagues at New Berlin Hills and Greenfield golf courses.  The calmness she drew from the  Buddah led her to volunteer for multiple charities such as the Salvation army and Franciscan Peacemakers.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Vernon Evangelical Lutheran Church (S90 W27550 National Ave. Vernon) from 10:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.  Private burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.  Dolores will join the love of her life, John.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be written to the sisters.  They will distribute the memorials to the charities of Dolores choice.
