Joseph George Nemoir, 77, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, with his beloved family at his side.

Joe was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth, humor, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He was married to his wife, Faye, for over 56 years—a partnership rooted in love, laughter, and deep mutual care.

He is survived by Faye; their children, Jennifer and Todd, and his husband, Davin; grandchildren, Ethan and Isabelle; and his brother, Michael, all of whom brought him endless joy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Josephine; his sister, Judith; and his son-in-law, Jason.

Joe was a passionate educator, a mischievous jokester, and someone who always showed love in quiet, steady ways.

He was also fiercely loyal to family and friends—and known for organizing legendary Father’s Day camping weekends, which featured equal parts laughter, heart, and chaos.

The family is grateful to the staff at St. Luke’s Medical Center and Zilber Family Hospice for their compassionate care in his final days. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Schmidt & Bartelt in Wauwatosa, WI from  1 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a simple act of quiet generosity or kindness in Joe’s honor.
