William C. Ault
January 25, 1941 - July 16, 2025

William “Bill” Ault, age 84, of Oconomowoc, WI, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, at Angels Grace Hospice.

Born January 25, 1941, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Bill was the beloved son of Chester and Frances (Paque) Ault. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend—quietly dependable, endlessly curious, and deeply kind.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen; sons Mark (Julie) Ault of Oconomowoc, WI, and Andrew (Chrissy) Ault of DeForest, WI; and grandchildren Renee (Logan) Webb of Albany, WI, Kaylie Ault of Denver, CO, and Colin Ault of Windsor, WI. His legacy lives on in their hearts, and in the many lessons he quietly passed down.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Emily “Toots” and Patricia.

Bill graduated from Green Bay East High School, class of 1959. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. At home, Bill always had a project list and spent hours tinkering—elbow-deep in new projects or fixing, building, or inventing something useful.

Growing up in Green Bay, Bill spent endless hours on the water – including duck hunting but especially boating. His love of boating inspired him to become a scuba diver, diving off many shipwrecks in upper Green Bay and Lake Michigan. His boating passion inspired him to volunteer many years of service in the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

During the winter months, Bill was an avid snowmobiler. He gave his time and skills by volunteering for local snowmobile clubs - especially FBI (Frozen Butts Inc.), and ICE (Ixonia Concord Explorers). He also gave time to the Ixonia Lions Club and was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church for 50 years.

A celebration of life at the family property in Suamico, WI, (a place near and dear to Bill) will be on August 9th.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Angels Grace Hospice.

Bill will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
