(nee Bertram) Went Home to the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Beloved mother of Kathleen (Joe) Dominski and Bill (Tara) Eckert. Loving grandmother of Sebastian Eckert. Dear sister of Janet (the late David) Krueger and Mary (the late Richard) Holtz. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her cherished grandson Michael William Eckert and parents Paul and Lucille Bertram.

Barbara will be remembered for her extraordinary love of her children, grandchildren, and family, as well as her love of animals and nature, which brought her great joy. The most important role she played here on earth was being a loving mother and grandmother. She will be cherished in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 25 from 11AM until time of Funeral Service at 12PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home – Sussex; W250 N6505 Hwy 164. A light lunch will follow the service at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest at Hartland Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara’s name to Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) or Salvation Army are greatly appreciated.
