Dolores Ann Nienow, born to eternal life October 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Preceded in death by her husband and best friend Wallace. Beloved mother of Mark (Claudia), Ken (Kathleen), Scott (Patty) and her late son Greg. Dear grandmother to Elizabeth (Kyle) Williams, Rebecca (Aaron) Crowley, Nicole Nienow, Jacob (Amber) Nienow and Anna Nienow. She was Great Grandma Doe to Haven, Brynn and Kyrie Williams. She was loved and appreciated by many nephews, nieces and friends.
Dolores graduated in 1951 in Practical Nursing from the Milwaukee Institute of Technology. After getting married in August of 1951 she decided to devote her life to being a stay home wife and mother. She loved life, loved being a mom to four boys, enjoyed fishing, bowling, water aerobics, playing canasta and feeding the birds in her backyard. One dear niece said she was the happiest person she’d ever known. She loved spending time at her cottage on Long Lake, creating memories with family, extended family and friends. Her life was made that much richer by her dear friend of 70+ years, Marge Schumann and Marge’s late husband, Dick, who she and Wally vacationed with for over 40 years. Along with Marge and Dick she and her husband Wally were dear friends with Dick and the late Virginia Stoll. A private memorial service will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
