Lois J. Bergmann
September 27, 1933 - November 23, 2025
        

Lois Bergmann, 92, of Wauwatosa and formerly of Brookfield died on November 23, 2025, at Harwood Place.

She was born to Edward and Helen Musolf on September 27, 1933, in Milwaukee and graduated from old Lutheran High School in Milwaukee in 1951.

Mrs. Bergmann worked as a secretary at Weyenberg Shoe, Allis-Chalmers and Wauwatosa Public Schools.

In the fall of 1957, she toured the Caribbean by ship and airplane. When she returned to Milwaukee, she met John F. Bergmann, whom she married the next year. They had two sons, Todd and Tom.

Mrs. Bergmann volunteered for many causes. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa for more than 55 years and the Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary for more than 25 years.

Survivors include one son, Todd S. of Valders: one daughter-in-law, Andrea (Jim) Simpson Bergmann Lohman of Kirkwood, MO.; two brothers-in-law, Edger (Helmi) Bergmann of Germany Gerald Jacobson and sister-in-law, Julie Musolf of Tennessee, two friends of more than 80 years, Lucille Mueller and Dory Yale; other relatives and friends.

Husband, John; son, Tom E.; sister, Carol (Jack) O’Toole; brother, Mark Musolf; sister Jean Jacobson, one brother-in-law, H.R. “Bob” (JoAnn) Bergmann, and three sisters-in-law, Lorriane (Joseph) Davis, Mildred (Paul) Klumb, Carol (William) Lamm preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home 10121 W. North Ave. from 10am until time of service at 11am. Interment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery 13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield, meeting in the green parking lot at the cemetery at noon.
