We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Anita Dorothy Lemanski of Waukesha WI.  Anita entered her eternal home and looked into the eyes of her Savior Jesus Christ and felt His warm embrace on Friday December 5, 2025.

Anita was born on October 22,1939 in Milwaukee WI to Karl and Ann Kolbus. Anita married Edmund Lemanski on July 30, 1960, and shared a loving and wonderful marriage for 65 years. 

In addition to her beloved husband Ed, Anita is survived by her daughter Ann (Mark) Jeske, son David (Jackie) Lemanski, sister-in-law Barbara Gawronski, brother-in-law Ted Lemanski, sister-in-law Mary Hughes along with nieces and nephews. 

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, brother Karl Kolbus, son-in-law Mark Jeske, sister-in-law Janet Lemanski, brother-in-law Terry Hughes and brother-in-law James Gawronski.

As her passion was gardening, Anita took great pride in her park like yard causing many passersby to stop and admire the beautiful flowers.  Her passion for gardening though could not compare to the love and passion she had for her Savior Jesus.  She spent hours in the study of the Bible and prayer.  Anita led many Bible studies and served many people who called the rooming houses and streets of Waukesha their home.

Anita and husband Ed shared a beautiful life together and showed what love, marriage and motherhood truly are.

As a family, we would like to express our deep appreciation for the staff at Angel's Grace Hospice. The entire staff showed warmth, compassion and great care during a difficult time. 

In accordance with Anita's wishes, the celebration of life service will be private.
