Roth, Guinivere Caroline (nee Tresidder)

Born April 3, 1932. After a long, courageous battle with memory loss and failing health, our mother Guin passed away peacefully on the morning of December 5, 2025 and is at rest. Mom was the beloved wife of Joseph, who preceded her in death. If there were ever a perfect example of opposites attracting, Mom & Dad filled those shoes perfectly. Mom loved the home that she and Joe built and lived in for nearly 60 years in Menomonee Falls.

Mom is survived by her six children: Mike (Bonnie), Chris, Tim (Cindy), Terry (Gladys), Wendee (Jim) Nitz, and Ellen (David) Sellnow. Mom was extremely proud of the multitude of grand and great-grandchildren that developed from their sons and daughters. Mom was an avid gardener who loved decorating multiple gardens in their beautiful yard. In addition, Mom was a longtime employee at Kohl’s Department Store and member of TOPS in the Falls- developing lifelong friendships at both.

We, the children of Guin, would like to sincerely thank all the caregivers at the Matterhaus Memory Care Unit at the Gables of Germantown and Preceptor Hospice for their support, dedication, and passion- easing Mom’s burdens over the past couple of years.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday December 29, 2025 at the Hot House Tavern, N88W16631 Appleton Ave. in Menomonee Falls, from 4pm until time of reflection service at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial to your favorite charity is appreciated.
