Judy Buck was born August 20, 1939 and found peace January 7, 2026 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Gordon for 53 years. Proud and caring “Mums” of sons Scott(Jillane) and Michael(Cam). Very happy Grandmother to Caley, Colton(who is currently serving overseas in the U.S Marine Corps), Gavin Buck, Alyssa(Scott) Mogelnicki, and Great Grandmother to Magnolia Mogelnicki. Caring sister to her brother Kenneth. Further survived by brothers and sisters-in-laws Jan(the late Douglas) Buck and Roger(Faith) Buck, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Judy is proceeded in death by parents Theodore and Agnes Nieman, and her husband Gordon.
After graduating from Menomonee Falls High School as a member of the National Honor Society, she married her high school boyfriend Gordon in 1961, after he completed his military service. In her later teenage years, she worked at the lunch and dinner counter at F.W Woolworth store at Capitol Court Shopping Center. In her senior years she enjoyed lunches with her girl cousins, the retired women she worked with at the Kohl’s Distribution Center, and the evening get togethers with the wives of the men belonging to the “Old Farts” club. She also helped her brother Ken in taking care of their parents in their senior years until their deaths.
Judy and family owned a small cottage on Poygan Lake for 29 years. They had a wonderful time boating, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets and nature. They hosted many relatives and friends. The family loved their pet dog Muggsy and have many fond memories of her. Judy was proud of her brother Ken who was in the U.S Army in Vietnam. She also was very proud of her sons Scott and Michael who also served in the U.S Army- Scott in Egypt and Michael in Germany.
Judy spent her last few years at Vista Pointe Assisted Living Center in Menomonee Falls. Her loving and generous spirit will live on in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
