Pat was born and raised in Rhinelander, WI

She spent much of her life in Oconomowoc. Her husband, Don and her were long time members at Oconomowoc Golf Club and ran a successful business, Thelen Engineering.  Don & Pat enjoyed living on Upper Oconomowoc lake and traveling. 

Pat spent the last several months living at Discovery Commons in Brookfield where she received excellent care and made many new friends, We are grateful for the staff and residents there 

Pat is preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Thelen, son Michael Bassett, Cousin Joanie, and sister Shirley Hoerter.

Visitation will be held Friday March 27, 2026, from 1pm until time of service at 2pm at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery in the Chapel of the Chimes (main building) 13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
