Judith E. Mingari (nee Gettelman)
August 26, 1944 - April 5, 2026

Passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 81 years. Beloved mother of Jane (Rich) Ward, Joseph Jr. (Susan), and Jean Mingari-Davis (Bryan Honaker). Loving grandmother of Angela Mingari and Aedan Davis. Survived by brothers David (Sandi) and Gael (Sandy) Gettelman, and sister Teri (Garry) Bakic; nieces and nephews; and dear friend Rick Karpinski. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mingari; parents, Louis and Jean Gettelman; and siblings Ruth Ann (Ron) Bridgeman, Mark (Bonnie) Gettelman, and Debbie Gettelman.

Judy married Joseph Mingari in 1963 at St. Mary’s Church in Menomonee Falls. She was a resident of Hubertus, WI, for 52 years, forming lifelong friendships and making memories at many gatherings with neighbors. She was a member of the St. Gabriel parish.

Judy was an avid snowmobiler alongside Joe, and together they were longtime members of the Snobirds and Kettle Moraine snowmobile clubs.  She also enjoyed motorcycling.   At a time when most women were passengers, she rode her own motorcycle, traveling with Joe and friends extensively around the US.

Judy found pleasure in fishing, gardening, and feeding the birds in her beautifully-kept yard. She loved trying new recipes in the kitchen and treasured the companionship of her beloved dog, Rudy.

In the 1980s, Judy transitioned from stay-at-home mom into a career as a medical receptionist in the GYN department at Falls Medical Group. Widowed after 49 years of marriage, she later enjoyed dancing with her friend, Rick, at area live music events. She gave back to her community as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, baking pies for the St. Gabriel Funeral Society, and helping the disabled with house cleaning.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home - Menomonee Falls (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave.) from 5 to 6:30 pm.
