I feel so sad. I have not seen Peggy in many years. She was instrumental in my ability and desire to sing. I was given opportunities from her that built my confidence. I was in choir with her as director since I was 9 years old. When I was 16, she and Bill were married. I had the honor of singing one song at their wedding with my singing partner, Theresa Setter. As a 10 year old, I sang my first solo at a St. Mary’s school concert. I auditioned for Peggy, and she picked me. I sang at a hundred weddings or more at St. Mary’s and other churches because she instilled in me a love of music and gave me confidence that singing was indeed my talent. I am forever grateful that she touched my life as she did. My heartfelt condolences to Bill, Kathy, and Peggy’s children and grandchildren.

Bill & family,

So sorry for your loss. I have warm memories of chatting with Peggy at girls basketball games, Masses with her at the organ & singing, and of course working with her planning the wedding ceremony for my daughter's, Christine, wedding.

God blessed you with a wonderful wife & family.

A verse that comes to mind as I remember my friend Peggy: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
