Kornburger Jr., Deacon Ralph W.

Entered into Eternal Life on April 30, 2026 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Jane for 63 years. Loving dad of Ralph III (Kirsten), Cheryl, Christine, Anita, Jeffrey (Michelle) and Joe. Proud grandpa of Sara, Megan, Nora, Ali, Makenzie, Zachary, Justin, Carlene, Madeline, Jack, Cecilia, Corinne, Kyra, Isabelle and Autumn. Great-grandpa of Brady, Levi, Amelia and Mason- with one great-grandbaby on the way. Survived by his brother Richard “Dick” and his sister Judi Welcenbach. Brother-in-law of Tom (Sandy) Casper. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Elvira and Ralph Kornburger Sr.

Ralph proudly served in the US Navy for 6 years. He then accepted a position at Chicago & Northwestern Railroad as a train engineer and retired after 37 years of dedicated service. Ralph also served his community as a Deacon for 47 years at St. Catherine’s Church- officiating baptisms, marriages, funerals, and spreading the Word of God.

Visitation will be Saturday May 9, 2026 at St. Catherine’s Church, 5101 W. Center St. in Milwaukee, from 10am until 11:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at NOON.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Catherine’s Church General Fund or to St. Catherine’s Food Pantry would be greatly appreciated.
